Kok Chwee started his career in 1981 in the aviation industry. Thereafter, he worked in the Tourism, Airline and Media industries. He has worked regionally in countries such as Myanmar, Thailand and lived in Munich, Germany while learning the German language.
He brings a wealth of experience in Cross-Cultural communication and management. His travels in the last 3.5 decades took him to more than 50 destinations ranging from Ecuador to the West to Mongolia and North Korea in the East.
He has worked with illustrious organisations such as Singapore Airport Terminal Services, Singapore Tourism Board, Air Mandalay, Bintan Resorts Management, Cathay Organisation Holdings and the Pacific Asia Travel Association.
Kok Chwee is skilled in the areas of marketing, corporate services and journalism. From 2005 to 2016, Kok Chwee took to free-lance journalism and contributed to a number of lifestyle, aviation and travel trade publications such as TTG-Asia, Food & Travel, Asian Aviation, Airways, Silver Kris as well as a coffee-table book entitled Kulit Manis – A Taste of Terengganu’s Heritage.
Kok Chwee is a very articulate communicator and skilled facilitator. Being an animal lover, he has been a responsible care-giver to a number of community cats since 2005. He is also a passionate aviation enthusiast and photographer and spends much time near airports and airplanes.
